Active Ingredient: Sulfisozole-sodium
Formulation: Sulfisozole-sodium powder (100%)
Pharmacologic Properties: The product is the sulfa drug developed only for fish diseases by Schering-Plough Takeda and has strong antibacterial activity, good palatability, good absorption, and high safety for fish. Because the product is effective against many kinds of bacteria and shows excellent efficacy against bacterial species such as Vibrio spp., Pasteurella spp. and etiologic agents of cold water disease. Label Indications: For the reduction of mortality in fish caused by sulfisozole-sensitive strains of bacteria. Isran Soda is approved for treatment of the following diseases of fish:
- Yellowtail: Vibriosis, Pseudotuberculosis
- Rainbow trout: Vibriosis
- Carp: Columnaris disease
- Ayu (sweet fish): Vibriosis, Cold water disease
Dosage and Administration: Administer sulfisozole-sodium at the following dose per kg body weight per day in feed: yellowtail,
rainbow trout, carp, ayu: 100mg-200mg/kg body weight.
1. Strictly observe the approved dose and indication of this product.
2. When this product is to be used, limit the treatment to as short a period as possible and do not
exceed 7 days.
3. Use only for indicated diseases approved for this product.
