 AquaVac* Vibrio Oral
Marine Species Information (Greek Brochure) Target Species: Dicentrarchus labrax (sea bass). Key Benefits:
- Forms part of a Total Protection Strategy against vibriosis as the booster dose for AquaVac* Vibrio.
- Addition of AquaVac* Ergosan* immunomodulator is recommended as an ingredient in the diet during vaccination. It is incorporated at 0.2% of the diet during the first 5 days of vaccine feed and may improve efficacy.
Label Indications: This product is recommended for use in healthy fish of 3g and larger to prevent vibriosis caused by two strains of Vibrio anguillarum.
Primary Vaccination: Day 1-5 0.02ml per fish per day Day 6-10 Normal feed Day 11-15 0.02ml per fish per day TOTAL 0.2ml per fish
Booster Vaccination: Day 1-5 0.01ml per fish per day Day 6-10 Normal feed Day 11-15 0.01ml per fish per day TOTAL 0.1ml per fish
Preparation of vaccine-coated feed pellets: Bring the vaccine to room temperature (20oC) for 1 hour before use to allow the vaccine to become more liquid. If any separation occurs, shake the bottle vigorously until the separated layers are completely dispersed. Turn the feed pellets in a mixer, e.g. a concrete mixer, and slowly pour or spray the vaccine directly onto the pellets. If a sprayer is used, it should be set to deliver a coarse spray without risk of aerosol particle generation and the spray container must be completely emptied during the mixing operation. Mix the pellets for at least 2 minutes after all the vaccine has been added. Keep the prepared feed for 1 hour before feeding, to allow the vaccine to impregnate the pellets completely.
